What We Do

Every project gets the same attention to detail — whether it's a small repair or a full-room transformation.
Custom Cabinetry
Hand-built kitchen, bath, and storage cabinets designed to fit your space and style perfectly — no off-the-shelf compromises.
Trim & Moulding
Baseboards, crown moulding, wainscoting, and window casings installed with clean lines and a finish that looks intentional.
Deck & Patio
Outdoor living spaces built to last — from composite decks to classic wood patios, complete with railings and steps.
Built-In Shelving
Maximize every inch with custom shelving, bookcases, and storage solutions tailored to your rooms and your stuff.
Door & Window Install
Interior and exterior doors, window replacements, and trim work done right — weather-tight and beautiful.
General Repairs
Sagging shelves, loose handrails, water-damaged wood — if it's made of wood and needs fixing, we've got you covered.
About Us
We don't cut corners.
That's kind of the point.
Against The Grain Custom Carpentry was founded on a simple belief: your home deserves work that lasts. In a world of fast fixes and particle board, we choose solid materials, proper joinery, and finishes that look great for years.
Based right here in Meridian, we treat every project like it's our own home. That means showing up on time, keeping a clean workspace, and explaining what we're doing so you actually understand it.
